ELISA Project.

ELISA stands for "enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay." The ELISA test detects antibodies from the immune system which can process an answer through simple tests. The test detects infected enzymes in the fluid samples. The results show the enzyme changing color which lets you know that you have been infected with a disease. Examples

Our project was to create an animation which includes a character receiving an infection which would then use an ELISA test to prove that any contact within the park was contagious.

In my assignment, a duck would cautiously walk to the pond. As a result of the bacteria in the water the duck would receive an infection. With the ELISA test, the duck will figure out officially that he has been infected.

Prototype

Navigation: How the navigation will work is when you press the "play" button the micro pipette tip will begin streaking against the petri dish.

Animation: With the tip, the streaks will go from one end to the next about 3 times rotating on the petri dish.

Prototype: Good designs that I used on my prototype were,
-Keep it simple (not messy)
-Using fonts deliberately  &
-Consistency (buttons on the same page)

Welcome!

Hello! You can refer to me by my last name Morales. I am sophomore in the Science Innovation Academy at Castle Park High ( http://sites.google.com/site/siabiotech/). A reason why I am in the academy was because science really interested me more than any subject at school. My classmates and I will be using this blog to post what we are doing currently with the academy. Being in the STAR program in Multimedia helped me create many new thoughts and unique possibilities I can do create with my projects.
